This will protect your enamel from damage. Also, be sure to purchase a new one every three to four months. Choosing a toothpaste that has fluoride is the best practice for a healthy mouth. You can also select products from the ADA’s list that have earned the ‘Seal of Acceptance.’ 

Eat a Healthy Diet

You probably hear this from every medical provider, and for a good reason! Eating a proper diet balanced with carbs, proteins, and healthy fats is essential to maintaining optimal health for your body – and your teeth! Avoid sugary beverages and stick to water. If you do have a sweet tooth, try to steer clear of hard candies or sticky sugars that can get lodged in your teeth for long periods. It is also essential to brush and floss after consuming sugar to eliminate any glucose-loving bacteria. Also, drink your weight (in ounces) in water every day.
