At Exceptional Smiles by Gregory M. Solich, DDS, we go above and beyond to make visiting the dentist a completely stress free experience. If you’re one of our Colorado Springs dentistry patients, we are here to help you with all of your oral health needs, and that includes helping patients get the care they need within their budgets. In addition to offering affordable treatment options, we are also happy to maximize dental insurance benefits. By making the most of your insurance coverage, we keep the cost of necessary dentistry treatments within almost any budget. If you want to learn more about our dentistry services or maximizing your dental insurance coverage, please don’t hesitate to call our Colorado Springs dentist and team to schedule an appointment.
There are two main types of dental insurance. Health maintenance organizations (HMO) and preferred provider organizations (PPO). HMO plans offer lower monthly premiums, but they also have stricter regulations on what dental offices you can visit and which treatments are covered. Unfortunately, our dental office does not offer coverage for any HMO insurance plans. PPO plans do have a slightly higher monthly premium, but they cover more services and offer flexibility that allows you to visit more offices. We are happy to process and file any PPO dental insurance claims, and we will partner with you to maximize your benefits. The easiest way to get the most out of your dental insurance investment is to visit us for six month dental appointments. During these checkups, we will partner with you to prevent the majority of serious oral health concerns and provide early diagnosis when we can’t prevent dental health issues. Your dental insurance provider will typically cover these preventive visits between 80 and 100%.
In addition to offering affordable care and processing and filing claims to help them achieve maximum coverage, we are also in-network providers with many major PPO benefit plans, including Aetna, Guardian, Delta Dental, MetLife, United Concordia, and Cigna. By offering in-network coverage, we agree to charge fees outlined by your insurer as average. You are only responsible for the out of pocket percentage of your treatment costs. Out of network dental offices can charge higher fees, but you will need to pay the difference in pricing. When you visit us for in-network dental care, you can be sure to pay the lowest out of pocket treatment costs.
If you don’t have traditional dental insurance benefits, we have you covered too. We are happy to offer a Membership Club. For a low monthly fee, you’ll receive all of your necessary preventive care and deep discounts on all other dentistry services in our office. Please don’t hesitate to ask one of our knowledgeable team members for more information.
